How it works

The Lumina Spark Splash tool provides a unique portrait of someone’s personality. It provides powerful insights into an individual’s strengths and areas for potential development, along with practical steps regarding how to capitalise on these. There’s no labelling or putting people in little boxes here – instead the innovative tool celebrates difference.

A particular strength of the tool is allowing delegates to acknowledge that we all have many faces to our personality.

For instance, we may show:

·       Our relaxed face (underlying). This is where we’re most comfortable and at ease, and one we don’t always share with others.

·       Our best face (everyday). This is the one we like to share in society and at work.

·       Our bad day face (overextended). This is the one we might show when we’re feeling the pressure and one that can lead to us to overplay our strengths.

The Lumina Spark Splash tool identifies the aspects of our personality behind each of these faces to build our awareness of how we may be responding to situations (both good and bad) and provides greater insights on how we might come across to others in that moment.

So, what is the Splash?

Lumina Spark then generates a unique ‘Splash’; a visual representation of the individual’s personality, focusing on eight aspects, all reflected by blended colours on their ‘mandala’. It’s easy to process, simple to understand and, most of all, ever so easy to put into use in the everyday work environment.

The Lumina Spark Splash tool has the added benefit of being a digital app allowing people to easily refer to their unique splash on the go. Not only that, but one of the aspects of the tool that we love (and that our clients tell us they love) is the functionality that allows people to digitally link up with other team members and share their ‘splash’. By digitally sharing and comparing their ‘splash’ through the app with another team member, individuals are then able to have fun and engaging conversations about their own personality and how they compare to each other.
